will
file a UCC-1 with the city or county, which confirms HDM’s ownership of the
Solar System.

Purchase the System: Sec (a)
The
first opportunity for a homeowner to purchase the system is at
the sixth anniversary.
HDM
will deliver a Transfer Notice. The
customer must send HDM written notice that they intend to purchase the system
within (60) days of the anniversary.
Purchase Price: Sec (c)
The
purchase price will be equal to the fair market value of the system minus the
value of the system’s energy yet to be delivered (14 years’ worth of output).
Administrative Fee: (a)
If a customer declines to purchase the system after six years there is an annual administrative fee of $48 per kW of solar.
A 6kW system would have an administrative fee of $288 that would increase annually by 2.9%.
